Modern Jazz is a fun and energetic dance that combines many styles and techniques from contemporary and ethnic dance, to ballet. The class work incorporates exercises and across the floor work which promote flexibility and body awareness, develop strength and proper posture. Principles of Jazz dance are introduced through routines and choreography to the sounds of jazz, soul, R&B, and pop music.
Dance experience is a plus but not required.
